These Items or Materials Attract Additional Fees?

Some waste items and materials attract additional fees and charges from the transfer stations and tipping facilities we use. We get charge additional fees and prices for these items, which are not included within the standard skip bin hire price or mini skips hire prices listed above. The prices listed in our bin hire shop are for our standard skip bin hire service, which does not allow for any of these additional items listed below.

If you wish to dispose of any of the following items or materials, you must notify us to pre arrange payment prior to Eastern Bin Hire staff collecting your skip bins or mini skips service. If there is no prior payment, these items will be removed from the skip bin, or any of these items are mixed within the load of the skip bins, additional fees and charges will apply!

Please note we do not accept items which attract additional fees, due to the complexity and people not wanting to pay the additional prices we get charge for these items!

Additional Fees are charged for the following items and materials: 

• Excess weight $35.00 for every 100 kg over the weight limit;

• Mattresses & Bed Bases extra fees - $85.00 each mattress and each bed base;

• Paint is not accepted, private residents can dispose of all types of paint at "Pant Back" centres for free, for us to dispose of paint we get charged $6.oo per litre ffor the size of the container, regardless of how much paint is inside the can;

• Oil from Cars, Trucks etc, we do not accept, most transfer stations accept paint as an addition fee. Fees for oils is around the $4.00 per litre of the size of the container the oil is contained in.

• Gas Bottles are not accepted, we get charged $20.00 each regardless of the size of the gas bottle, the price is the same, with or without gas being in the bottle.

• Fire Extinguishers we do not accept, we get charge $20.00 per fire extinguisher regardless of size or if there is full or empty the price is the same.

• PLEASE NOTE: just because a gas bottle or fire extinguisher is empty, ot the pressure    valve has been removed, we still don't accept these items! Under no circumstance are we permitted to dispose of these items at transfer stations or any tipping facility, regardless of the state of the pressure vessel, so please don't tell us how to do our job!
